One of Cake Tinz n Thingz’s goals is to provide the very best quality products. If you change your mind regarding any item purchased we are more than happy to exchange or refund within 7 days of receipt of the goods. The goods must be returned in perfect, unused and unopened condition, receipt of purchase with any postage charges are the responsibility of the customer.
**Please note: we do not accept returns on seasonal or clearance items unless faulty or incorrect. Additionally, no food items will be accepted for return, due to Health Regulations.
If you receive an incorrect item, the item is damaged or the item not as described please contact us immediately to arrange a replacement or return. Any postage costs associated from an error will be covered by Cake Tinz n Thingz.
Cake Tinz n Thingz will not be held responsible for items such as cake mixes, cooking chocolates and melts etc if they are received in good order but fail to satisfy your expectations for flavour or ease of use. If unsure of the correct use of these products we suggest that you seek advice or investigate fully their correct use before purchasing these items.
Many of our goods are of a very delicate nature and therefore are packed very carefully, by hand, and the vast majority arrive in perfect condition. We guarantee that all of our products leave our warehouse in perfect condition. We do recommend postage insurance to cover for any damage or breakage as we do not replace broken items. If you do receive a damaged item please contact us immediately and we will review each case on an individual basis.
Please note that we will not be in a position to address your problem where you have been careless or unreasonable in your demands.
Note: Cake Tinz n Thingz is not required to provide you with a refund if you have simply changed your mind or you find a similar or the same item to be cheaper elsewhere.

In the event at our discretion we do refund you (as opposed to replace goods) for orders placed online or over the telephone – we will credit back the original credit card on which the order was purchased. Alternatively, we will issue you with a credit voucher.
Gift Vouchers
Unfortunately we are unable to provide refunds on gift vouchers once they have been purchased online or in the store.
Courses and Workshops
Bookings
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a class booking. This payment is due within 48 hours of a booking being made. If multiple classes are booked, a deposit is required for each individual class. The bookings are not confirmed until a deposit is received and may be cancelled at our discretion.
Payment in full is required at least 2 weeks before the class commencement date. If payment is not made in full by 2 weeks from the class date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without refund.
Class Confirmation
Cake Tinz n Thingz will contact all students 2 weeks before the class commencement date to confirm payment, class details and any student requirements. Please don’t hesitate to call us with any questions.
Class Cancellations
All classes need a minimum number of students to proceed. If a class does not have enough students Cake Tinz n Thingz reserves the right to cancel any class. Notification will be sent to the students 48 hours before the course is to commence. If Cake Tinz n Thingz requires to cancel a class, we will provide you with a full refund. You will be given the option to transfer to another workshop of your choice to the same value.
Student Cancellations & Refunds
Any cancellation received will incur a minimum loss of the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellation within 14 days of class commencement will incur a fee of 50% of the class cost. Any remaining fee paid will be refunded.
Cancellations within 7 Days of the class commencement date will not receive a refund, transfer or credit.
Student Transfers
Should you need to reschedule your course or workshop, you must provide us with a minimum of 7 days notice. You may reschedule to another course or workshop within 6 months time and your deposit will be applied to the new course/workshop, however we cannot reschedule any bookings for courses within 7 days of the course start date. Cake Tinz n Thingz reserves the right to charge a fee of $15 to cover administration costs for processing any transfer. This fee is payable at the time of transfer and is only available if there is space in the course you are wanting to transfer to
