Matthew Landers is Perth’s premier Florist, with 2 extremely successful Training Academy’s – Perth and Adelaide. Matthew has had numerous invitations to share his talents at the Chelsea Flower Show over the years and is heading back to Cake Tinz n Thingz to share his wealth of knowledge, Talent and Personality with us.
Come and join us for this three hour hands on workshop with Matthew learning about all things ‘Cake Flowers’. Matthew will take you through fine detail wiring, selecting and arranging flowers, food safety vs origins/pesticides on flowers and creating florals to suit the size, scale and proportion of the cake. You’ll create your very own floral design on two cakes with the techniques you learn throughout the lesson. All flowers and sundries to arrange are supplied. Tools to be provided for use with flowers in class time. Two options with pricing for you – supply your own cakes or have us take care of it all for you

What to bring:
- Student to bring 2 x 6 or 8″ round cakes, 1 x fondant covered, 1 x buttercream covered
- All tools and flowers will be provided to use on the day
- Closed in shoes a must whilst in the Training Studio
- Some notes will be handed out on the day , but a note pad and pen if always helpful if you wish to take extra notes
- An apron
- Tea and Coffee are supplied (bottled water and soft drinks are available for purchase)

- Confidence and knowledge to arrange fresh flowers with any order

Location:
- All workshops are run from our Balcatta training centre so please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the class

- $165 (including GST) per person
