Tin Hire

We have a huge range of standard (e.g. round, square, petal, octagonal, etc) and novelty tins for hire and are perfect for those one-off cakes where you don’t want to have to go to the expense of purchasing a tin.

Novelty tins are particularly popular for children’s cakes – no more carving cakes to make strange shapes!  The range includes everything from popular TV, cartoon and movie characters to animals, dinosaurs, numbers, pirates, fairies, butterflies and a whole heap more. We also have rare and vintage Wilton tins that are no longer available. If you are looking for a particular tin, telephone us on 08 9345 1869 to find out if we have it for hire.  Some novelty tins can also be ordered for purchase (according to availability – note that they may take several weeks to arrive).

We recommend booking tins to ensure they are available when you want them. We take bookings up to two weeks in advance in person or over the telephone.  In consideration of others, if you need to cancel a booking, please do so as soon as possible by telephoning us on 08 9345 1869 (please do not cancel via email).

Our tin hire rates and conditions are:
1 tin – $50 cash* bond
2 or more tins – $70-$100 cash* bond (depending on the tins)
Hire fee – $6.50 (inc GST) per tin to hire for three (3) days, paid on collection of tin**. Overdue tins are charged at $5 per day.
Bond is returned and hire fee is paid when tin (and picture if applicable) are returned in good condition to the shop.  Damage or loss must be paid for.  All hire bags must also be returned with tins or charges will apply.

* We do not have a refund facility on our EFT machines so all tin hire bonds must be in cash
** It is store policy that tin hire is paid on collection of the tin.

Stand Hire

We hire a wide range of cake stands, including the ultra-popular acrylic cupcake stands.  Stands come in a variety of shapes, sizes and heights and require a cash bond*.  We have plastic, metal, acrylic, wire and timber stands in a variety of colours, including silver, gold, clear and white.  Hire fees vary according to the stand.  As each stand is unique, we recommend visiting our store to see our range.

To secure a booking for a stand, you must pay a non-refundable $20 booking fee, cash only*.  This forms part of your total bond amount.  The full bond in cash* and the hire fee must be paid on collection of the stand**.  The bond is refunded to you on return of the stand. Any loss or damage must be paid for.

We do not accept bookings for stands any more than 6 months in advance.
